Your data never leaves your phone. We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Overview

"Did I Lock It?" is a 100% offline-first app. We built it with privacy as a core feature.

Data Collection

We collect nothing:

No accounts — no email, no sign-up
No analytics — no tracking, no crash reports
No advertising — no ad networks
No cloud sync — no servers
No third-party SDKs that collect data

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device only:

Action logs — local SQLite database
Photos — app's private storage
Location pins — GPS coordinates stored locally
Reminders — device's local notification system
Settings — local preferences

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data.

Permissions

All permissions are optional:

Camera — to take proof photos
Photo Library — to select existing photos
Location — to pin location on map
Notifications — to send local reminders

Map Tiles

The location map loads tiles from Carto (basemaps.cartocdn.com). This is the only network request. No personal data is transmitted.

Children's Privacy

We collect no data from anyone, including children.
